BTS of our Release the Glory album: the thunder SFX

You might be wondering how we made the thunder sound effects for our Release the Glory album. And the answer to your question is shocking....

WE MADE IT OURSELF!

We LOVE making our own sound effects, and we love sharing how we did it just as much.

Blair and I went to Capitol Sheet Metal and got a huuuge piece of metal for about $10.

Then, Blair simply had to shake it to make the thunder sound effects. It was super fun and after Jon Balsley, our sound engineer, mixed and mastered the recording-- OH YES! WE LOVED IT!
